Armadores de Santander Hotel

Armadores de Santander (Santander Shipowners) Hotel occupies three buildings from different times and styles, which underwent a restoration process to be adapted to their new function. Today, clearly differentiated by their façade colors, these buildings make up the hotel as a whole, preserving hallmarks and original elements. This hotel affords a superb view of ships coming and going.

On the city’s maritime doorstep, the hotel also has Cantabria restaurant, bringing in smells from Santander, combined with international food aroma; and a pergola in the terrace, where cocktails, local and international beverages, light meals and barbecue are offered to visitors.
Our guests may breathe in the sea ambience everywhere in the hotel, whose decoration includes views of Santander port city, and Cantabria restaurant interior design simulates luxury rooms in passenger steamships from the early 1920’s.
The hotel is located a few meters from the lively Old and St. Francis of Assisi Squares, at the intersection of Luz Street and San Pedro Avenue (the Port Avenue), along which visitors may now find new attractions like the Greek and Russian orthodox churches and a cultural centre (indoor craft market), formerly San José warehouse, with a wide variety of local handicrafts.
Cantabria restaurant’s peculiarity lies in its absolute faithfulness to Santander, the region represented by this dining facility.
