San Miguel Hotel

San Miguel Hotel, located by the harbor, is in a building acquired and refurbished in 1923 by Mr. Antonio San Miguel y Segalá, a cultural promoter and an outstanding man of letters who run La Lucha (The Struggle) Havana newspaper, of great significance during the 1895 war of independence. An elegant architectural complex, San Miguel Hotel stands out for the layout and good taste of its rooms, showing the lifestyle of Havana bourgeoisie in the 1920’s.(Further reading)
