Telégrafo Hotel

Telégrafo (Telegraph) Hotel dates from 1860, back then it was located on Amistad (Friendship) street. Towards 1914, all its rooms and the restaurant showed off Phones providing guests with national and international telephone services. Nowadays, Telégrafo Hotel invites visitors to contemplate the heart of Havana from its 63 comfortable, fully-equipped and modernized rooms, and on the first floor, interior guest rooms still preserve remains of their original walls.

Recently designed elements and a majestic ceramic mural in its interior courtyard, contrast with original arcade bricks which lead to a restaurant specializing in international cuisine.
The hotel restoration work was awarded the City of Havana Architecture and Engineering Prize in 2003, for quality, a combination of modernity codes with neoclassic architecture proportions and rhythm on the facades, as well as a completely new interior treatment and integration of its designs with visual arts.
In addition to the 24-hour snack bar, the hotel has an international cuisine restaurant, which extends to the famous “Acera del Louvre” (Louvre Sidewalk), where visitors may enjoy a business breakfast or lunch, group dining and other festivities.
