El Molino Tavern is set inside Marqués de Prado Ameno Hotel which, with the appearance of a Cuban colonial house, shows architectural values of one of the most outstanding buildings on O’Reilly Street erected toward the first decade of the 18th century. Fragments of mural paintings from different periods adorn the walls of galleries and rooms, while pieces found in archeological excavations form part of the decoration of the place.
Cider chicken and honey pork are two of their food choices and a fine selection of international cocktails and drinks to go with these dishes are also offered.
O’Reilly Street, one of the oldest in town, is starting to receive the benefits of architectural restoration in the Historic Center. In the area around El Molino there are some refurbished buildings such as Factoría Habana, a space dedicated to contemporary art, and Víctor Hugo House, promoting French and Cuban cultural values.
