El Patio Restaurant

El Patio, an emblematic site for Cuban traditional cookery, is located in the Cathedral Square, the heart of the Historic Center in Old Havana. This restaurant, set inside an 18th-century building, astonishes visitors for its huge front, its spacious porch, upper-floor balconies and colorful stained glass windows. With an excellent personalized service, El Patio has El Portal (the Porch) Snack Bar overlooking the square; and La Fuente (the Fountain) room, in its interior courtyard, providing services from Villanueva bar. It also has an air-conditioned private room called Aguas Claras (Clear Waters), ideal for a business lunch or a private dinner; and the Marquess’ room, specializing in grilled meat and suitable for receptions and special celebrations.

El Patio is surrounded by important buildings like the Cathedral church, the Colonial Art Museum and Havana Experimental Visual Arts Workshop, the latter is located on Callejón del Chorro (Stream Alley).
